Finnair S17 US service changes as of 22MAR17

Finnair yesterday (22MAR17) made additional changes to planned summer 2017 season to North America, including Chicago and Miami, as well as removal of Airbus A340-300 schedule.

Previous update for Miami in mid-January 2017, sees the airline schedules 3 weekly Helsinki – Miami route with A330-300, switching to A340-300 from 01JUN17 to 28SEP17. Based on the announcement, the airline will suspend this route during from 01MAY17 to 30SEP17.

Previously planned schedule as follow.

AY007 HEL1650 – 2040MIA 343 247
AY008 MIA2230 – 1530+1HEL 343 247

For Helsinki – Chicago O’Hare route, May 2017 schedule previously sees 4 weekly A340-300 and 1 weekly A330-300, has been revised to 3 weekly with A330-300 only.

AY010 ORD2200 – 1450+1HEL 333 147

This latest adjustment officially marks the end of Finnair’s A340-300 operation, which the airline operated last scheduled flight on 31JAN17, Tokyo Narita to Helsinki.
