Pakistan International New York adjustment from Oct 2017

Pakistan International Airlines has closed reservation for its New York JFK service, effective from the second-half of October 2017. The airline currently operates 2 weekly Lahore – Manchester – New York JFK – Lahore route, including 1 weekly flight originating from Karachi.

Initially, PIA closed New York JFK bookings effective immediately, despite no confirmed suspended dates, despite various local reports. The airline on Tuesday (10OCT17) re-opened bookings for flights departing 14OCT17, and on Wednesday (11OCT17) re-opened service on 21OCT17 and 28OCT17. As of 0630GMT 11OCT17, flights on/after 31OCT17 remains unavailable for reservation.

The following schedule is effective from Nov 2017.

The effective date of reservation closure is based on inventory data as of 11OCT17. Inventory for New York service, which PIA first launched in 1961, is expected to be adjusted on daily basis.
