About The Airline
Vueling is headquartered in Barcelona and is the airport's largest operator. The airline started operations on July 1st, 2004, with two Airbus A320 aircraft, four routes, and a commitment to offer excellent customer service at highly competitive fares.
Vueling is now the largest airline in Spain by fleet size and number of destinations. It connects Barcelona - El Prat airport with more than 160 destinations, with a fleet of over 120 aircraft, including A319, A320 and A321 models. The airline has over 15 operational bases across Spain and Europe.
It is also part of International Airlines Group (IAG), together with Aer Lingus, British Airways, Level and Iberia. IAG is one of the world's largest airline groups, carrying 100m passengers in 2019.
