Lien Khuong International Airport completes flight validation milestone ahead of reopening
As part of the final preparations for the reopening of Lien Khuong International Airport (DLI), Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) has successfully completed a series of flight validation activities to assess the airport's Performance-Based Navigation (PBN) procedures and verify the performance of its air navigation systems.
Conducted on 5 July 2026, the flight validation programme represents a critical technical milestone to ensure that instrument flight procedures and navigation aids comply with international operational safety requirements before commercial services resume.

The successful completion of this mandatory assessment confirms that the airport's upgraded flight procedures have been thoroughly evaluated under actual flight conditions, supporting safe and efficient aircraft operations.
The reopening of Lien Khuong International Airport is scheduled for 19 August 2026, marking the completion of a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade designed to enhance operational capacity and improve passenger experience.

Serving Da Lat, one of Vietnam's most popular highland tourism destinations, Lien Khuong International Airport plays a strategic role in connecting the Central Highlands with major domestic and international markets. The airport is expected to support continued growth in leisure travel while creating new opportunities for airlines seeking to expand services to Vietnam's rapidly growing tourism sector.
With technical readiness nearing completion, ACV looks forward to welcoming airlines and passengers back to Lien Khuong International Airport and continuing to strengthen connectivity between Da Lat and destinations across the region.
