Vietnamese airline launches first nonstop Moscow - Cam Ranh route

Vietjet has become the first Vietnamese airline to operate a nonstop route from Moscow, Russia, to Cam Ranh, adding a direct connection between one of the key international source markets and Khanh Hoa. The route will operate three flights per week through the end of 2026 and is expected to increase to five flights per week from January 2027.

The new route comes as the Russian market continues to see strong growth in Khanh Hoa. In the first eight months of 2026, the province welcomed more than 851,000 Russian visitors, more than three times the figure recorded during the same period in 2025. During the same period, Khanh Hoa welcomed more than 6.3 million international visitors, up nearly 68% year on year. With its beaches and islands, favorable climate, resort offerings and diverse tourism services, Khanh Hoa offers a range of experiences that align well with the preferences of Russian travelers, particularly for longer stays.

The nonstop Moscow–Cam Ranh route adds another direct travel option between Russia and Khanh Hoa, making it easier for international visitors to reach the destination. For Cam Ranh International Airport, one of the 21 airports managed and operated by Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), the addition of a new route contributes to diversifying its international connectivity network and expanding access to potential source markets.

Alongside the expansion of air connectivity, the direct link with the Russian market is expected to support the growth of international arrivals and tourism and service activities in Khanh Hoa, while further strengthening the region’s international air connectivity network.
