Cyprus Rank Among Europe’s Fastest-Growing Passenger Traffic Markets in 2025
Cyprus has emerged as one of Europe’s fastest-growing passenger traffic markets in 2025, significantly outperforming the European average growth rate of +4.4%, according to the ACI EUROPE Full Year 2025 Airport Traffic Report.
Amid ongoing operational and geopolitical challenges across the global aviation sector, these results highlight the effectiveness, resilience and long-term vision underpinning Cyprus’s aviation strategy.
Record-Breaking Year for Cyprus Airports
Cyprus Airports marked a milestone year in 2025, recording the highest passenger traffic in their history, alongside notable growth in winter travel.
Total passenger numbers across Larnaka International Airport and Pafos International Airport reached 13.75 million, representing a 12% increase compared to 2024.
Larnaka Airport handled 9.91 million passengers, reflecting a strong 14% year-on-year increase. Pafos Airport recorded 3.84 million passengers, marking a 5% rise compared to the previous year.
In total, 60 airlines operated 160 routes, connecting Cyprus with 41 markets across Europe and the Middle East.
