About The Airport

Phu Bai International Airport (IATA: HUI, ICAO: VVPB) is located in Huong Thuy Town, Thua Thien Hue Province, approximately 13–15 km southeast of Hue city center. The airport is managed and operated by Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) and serves as an important aviation gateway for the North Central region of Vietnam, supporting travel demand, tourism, and trade activities of Thua Thien Hue Province and surrounding localities.

As the air gateway to Hue – the former imperial capital and one of Vietnam’s major cultural and tourism destinations – Phu Bai International Airport is being progressively developed into a key aviation hub within the Central Vietnam airport network, contributing to the promotion of tourism, trade, and socio-economic development of Thua Thien Hue Province and neighboring areas.
