Aruba Airport reports its traffic performance for the year-to-date (YTD) September 2025, providing an overview of passenger volumes, airline performance, and key market trends.

Passenger Traffic and Operations
From January to September 2025, Aruba Airport recorded 1,252,336 revenue-generating passengers (RGP), a 4% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Seat capacity reached 1,511,559 (+1%), with a load factor of 87.3% (+1.1 points). The airport handled 10,746 flight departures (+3%) during this period.

Market Share by Region
The U.S. remains Aruba Airport’s largest source market, accounting for 70% of RGP, followed by Latin America & the Caribbean at 17%, Canada 4%, Dutch Caribbean 4%, and Europe 4%.

Airline and Gateway Performance
In September 2025, JetBlue (B6) and American Airlines each held 18% of RGP, followed by United and Delta at 10% each, and Avianca at 9%.

By gateway seat capacity, the New York area (JFK, EWR, LGA) represented 23%, followed by Bogotá (10%), Amsterdam (9%), Miami (9%), and Boston (7%), underscoring the airport’s diversified network across North America, Latin America, and Europe.

Outlook
As the 2025/2026 winter season begins, Aruba Airport anticipates a steady flight schedule complemented by new additions to its network. LATAM Airlines will launch a new seasonal service to Bogotá operating three times weekly, enhancing connectivity within Latin America. In addition, Aerolíneas Argentinas joins Aruba Airport’s airline portfolio, introducing three new connections from Buenos Aires (EZE) with onward links via Córdoba (COR) and Mendoza (MDZ)—further strengthening access from South America.
