Direct Flights from Canada with Porter Airlines
The Aruba Airport Authority N.V. and the Aruba Tourism Authority announce new direct service with Porter Airlines from Toronto and Ottawa to Aruba starting in Winter 2026.
The new flights with Porter Airlines will provide Aruba residents with more direct access between Aruba and Canada during the winter season, creating additional travel options with fewer connections.
Service from Toronto will operate five times per week, while service from Ottawa will operate two times per week aboard Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.
The new routes will add approximately 924 additional seats per week between Aruba and Canada during the winter season, providing travelers with more direct access and flexibility.
Toronto remains one of Canada’s largest travel hubs, offering convenient onward connections to destinations across North America and internationally. Ottawa, Canada’s capital city, also provides easy access to surrounding regions.
Passengers flying with Porter Airlines can enjoy free high-speed Wi-Fi, complimentary premium snacks, and Porter’s signature no-middle-seat configuration. Travelers can also choose PorterReserve, which includes extra legroom, dedicated check-in, early boarding, checked baggage, and freshly prepared meals on longer flights.
“Welcoming Porter Airlines to Aruba marks an important addition to our route network and gives our community more direct access to two key Canadian markets,” Jonny Anderson, CEO Aruba Airport. “Toronto and Ottawa both offer strong connectivity opportunities, and these new flights help make travel more convenient for our residents while continuing to expand Aruba’s accessibility.
“Canada remains an important market for Aruba,” said Ronella Croes, CEO of the Aruba Tourism Authority. “Canadian guests tend to stay longer, discover more of the island, and contribute meaningfully to our local economy. This new service with Porter Airlines supports our diversification efforts while enhancing connectivity and reinforcing our focus on high-value tourism that benefits our community.”
