William Pearson, Aviation Development Director at Birmingham Airport, said: “These additional flights to Edinburgh and Glasgow is great news for business and leisure passengers, who are set to benefit from greater choice and increased connectivity. We’re sure this latest route announcement will also be welcomed by those wanting to visit friends and relatives in both Birmingham and Scotland. We’re delighted with Flybe’s decision to increase flights to these popular destinations, which clearly demonstrates their commitment to Birmingham and the wider region.”
