easyJet Expands Birmingham Airport Network

New Milan and Tivat services strengthen easyJet’s growing BHX network, connecting the Midlands with more destinations across Europe.
easyJet is continuing to grow its Birmingham Airport network with the addition of two new routes for summer 2027, further strengthening the airline’s presence at one of the UK’s most strategically positioned airports for future growth.
Flights to Milan Malpensa will begin on 29th March 2027, ahead of the peak summer season, operating twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.
easyJet will be the only carrier offering a direct service between Birmingham Airport and Milan Malpensa, providing passengers across the Midlands with greater direct access to one of Europe’s major business, leisure, and cultural destinations.
The airline has also announced a brand-new route from Birmingham to Tivat in Montenegro, launching on 3rd May 2027 and operating twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays.
The additions further expand the choice available from Birmingham Airport.
Birmingham Airport handled a record 13.7 million passengers in 2025 and sits at the heart of a £77 billion regional economy. Its central location and extensive road and rail connectivity provide airlines with access to significant leisure, business, and visiting-friends-and-relatives demand across the Midlands and beyond.
The latest routes build on easyJet’s growing Birmingham operation and underline the opportunity for airlines to add capacity and introduce new destinations from the airport.
