Norwegian continues to expand at Swedavias Airports ahead of summer 2026
Norwegian announced that they will launch a new route from Göteborg Landvetter Airport ahead of the summer program of 2026.
Norwegian continues to invest in the Swedish market by adding new direct routes from Swedavias two largest airports, Stockholm Arlanda and Göteborg Landvetter. In total, Norwegian will launch four new routes of which several is new destinations offered from the airports.
Norwegian's investment in the Swedish air travel market is a clear sign of the high demand for international travel to and from Sweden. The new routes play an important role in connecting Sweden to well-established markets in Europe and the rest of the world, says Elizabeth Axtelius, Director Aviation Business at Swedavia. Norwegian has a longstanding presence at Swedavias airports, and they are an important partner in reaching our goal to facilitate for people to meet, whether it is for business, leisure or to visit family and friends, says she.
From Göteborg Landvetter Norwegian will be operating a new route to Riga. The destination is added to the previously communicated summer program of 2026, which also includes new routes to Hamburg, Milan and Tirana from Göteborg Landvetter Airport.
Starting on March 29, 2026, Gothenburg Landvetter (GOT) – Riga (RIX) will be operated twice a week.
