Wizz Air to launch new direct route from Bratislava to Tel Aviv

BRATISLAVA – Regular flights from M. R. Štefánik Airport Bratislava to Tel Aviv, Israel, will begin on 28 May. The new route, originally scheduled to launch at the end of March but postponed due to the security situation in the Middle East, will be operated by Wizz Air in less than two weeks’ time, with a frequency of three flights per week.

Ian Malin, Chief Commercial Officer at Wizz Air, said: “As Europe’s reliable airline and Israel’s number one low-cost airline, we are thrilled to confirm our return to Tel Aviv. The safety and security of our passengers and crew remain our top priority, and we have taken a cautious and measured approach to this decision. We look forward to reconnecting with our Israeli passengers and allowing our millions of customers across Europe to experience the amazing culture Israel has to offer. Let’s WIZZ!”

Wizz Air’s return to Israel also includes the new route from Bratislava, which was originally due to launch on 17 March but was postponed.

Flights from Bratislava to Tel Aviv, Israel, and back will operate from Thursday, 28 May 2026, using an Airbus A321neo aircraft with a capacity of 239 passengers. The route will operate three times a week, every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
