Travel to Sardinia with Marabu

Good news for travelers from the metropolitan area: Northern Sardinia is now directly accessible again. 

Over the weekend, the inaugural flight of Marabu Airlines from Olbia was welcomed at Nuremberg's Albrecht Dürer Airport – with bouquets of flowers for the crew and a warm reception on the apron.

The new service will be offered twice a week – every Saturday and, starting May 28th, also on Wednesdays. Independent travelers especially appreciate the new nonstop route.

With Olbia, a popular holiday destination returns to the Nuremberg flight schedule after a three-year hiatus. Ryanair also continues to offer up to four weekly flights to Cagliari in the south of the island. This gives travelers two direct connections to the Italian Mediterranean island.

For the people in the region, this means an expanded range of holiday destinations from their home airport – with shorter distances, more comfort and direct connections.
