easyJet’s first flight from Newcastle to Lisbon takes off
The first ever direct service between North East England and the Portuguese capital
easyJet has launched its new service between Newcastle Airport and Lisbon, becoming the first and only carrier operate the route.
The route will operate twice a week on Mondays and Fridays throughout the summer season, and Thursdays and Sundays during the upcoming winter season, providing a convenient connection for customers in the North East to the Portuguese capital.
Lisbon, renowned for its historic neighbourhoods, Atlantic coastline, and thriving food scene, is expected to be a popular choice for travellers looking for a summer city break.
