berlin1Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) are the main airport for Germany's capital region, and  began operations in October. The airport has three operational terminals and two runways. Until BER opened, two airports - Berlin Tegel and Berlin Schönefeld - served the region of Berlin and Brandenburg. Berlin Tegel closed for all commercial flights in November and Berlin Schönefeld was integrated into the BER airport and now operates as BER Terminal 5.
