BIMAN Bangladesh Airlines Extends DC10 Hong Kong Service to mid-Feb 2014

BIMAN Bangladesh Airlines has extended planned DC10 operation as well as service reduction on Dhaka – Hong Kong route, as per 13JAN14 GDS timetable/inventory display. BIMAN is now scheduling 1 weekly DC10 operation until 11FEB14. Planned 2 weekly A310 service is now scheduled from 18FEB14, instead of 21JAN14.

BIMAN’s DC10 last scheduled/normal operation remains on track on 13FEB14, however operational route is revised to Kuwait – Dhaka, instead of Kuwait – Chittagong – Dhaka. In early January, the airline issued a press release claims normal flying is scheduled until 08FEB14. At time this post goes to press, the date given by the airline remains incorrect.
