Ethiopian Airlines Converts Sao Paulo to Nonstop Service from late-Apr 2015

Ethiopian Airlines starting 25APR15 will launch nonstop service to South America, replacing existing 1-stop service via West Africa. From this date, the Star Alliance member will operate Addis Ababa – Sao Paulo nonstop, instead of Addis Ababa – Lome – Sao Paulo.

Boeing 787-8 aircraft will continue to operate Sao Paulo service 3 times a week.

Flying time is 12 hours in both direction.

Service to Lome remains unchanged at 4 weekly level, where it’ll operate Addis Ababa – Lome – Abidjan sector (currently 1 weekly). Abidjan flights as a result will increase from 4 to 7 weekly.
