Air China Adds Minsk / Budapest Service from May 2015

Air China from 01MAY15 is launching a new service to Eastern Europe, linking Belarus and Budapest. The Star Alliance member will be operating Beijing – Minsk – Budapest – Beijing triangle route, on board Airbus A330-200 aircraft.

Air China’s entry to Hungary market marks the resumption of direct air link between China and Hungary, as Hainan Airlines last operated Beijing – Budapest route in 2012.

Reservation for this route is now available, however CA does not have local traffic rights on Minsk – Budapest sector.


ASM PurpleASM is hosting a special training event in December to mark its 25th anniversary in route development. The two-day event will play host to an impressive line-up of senior airline, airport and Industry speakers around the theme of 'If route development was perfect, what would it look like?'. 

Speakers include:

  • Leon Verhallen, head of aviation development, Brussels Airport 
  • Laurie Berryman, former meneral manager UK and Ireland, Emirates.
