ANA today revealed planned Boeing 787-9 “R2-D2 ANA Jet” operation, due to enter service in mid-October 2015. In addition, the airline also announced 2nd and 3rd special Star Wars livery, “Star Wars ANA Jet” 767-300 and “BB-8 ANA Jet” 777-300ER, which will enter service respectively in November 2015 and as early as March 2016.

“R2-D2 ANA Jet” Boeing 787-9 will be operating Fan Appreciation Flight on 17OCT15, followed by following International routes:
18OCT15 Tokyo Haneda – Vancouver
Mid-October to Late-November 2015 Tokyo Narita – San Jose CA
Early-December 2015 Tokyo Narita – Seattle
From mid-December 2015, from Tokyo Haneda to: Beijing, Jakarta, Munich, Paris CDG, Sydney and from Tokyo Narita to: Brussels
Boeing 787-9 “R2-D2 ANA Jet” operational routes and dates are tentative and subject to change. Other routes not included above may also see “R2-D2 ANA Jet” operation.
“Star Wars ANA Jet” 767-300 will be mainly operate domestic routes, while “BB-8 ANA Jet” 777-300ER to operate primarily on North American routes.
