Royal Jordanian East Asia Network Changes from Dec 2015

Royal Jordanian from 02DEC15 is adjusting service to East Asia, which includes planned new service to Guangzhou in China while resuming service to Jakarta in Indonesia. The oneWorld member plans to operate 3 weekly Amman – Bangkok – Guangzhou service with Boeing 787-8 aircraft.

From the same date, the 3 weekly Amman – Bangkok – Kuala Lumpur will become Amman – Kuala Lumpur nonstop operation, and extends to Jakarta, using Airbus A330-200 aircraft. RJ last served Jakarta in May 2003.

RJ does not have local traffic rights on Bangkok – Guangzhou and Kuala Lumpur – Jakarta sector. RJ’s overall service to Bangkok remains unchanged at 7 weekly, including 4 weekly Amman – Bangkok – Hong Kong.
