KLM Proposes New Long-Haul Additions in S16

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has proposed the addition of 2 destinations to its long-haul network in summer 2016 season, which both are not available for reservation at present time, however flight information has been loaded in the GDS. Proposed addition as follow.

From 02MAY16, KLM proposed to resume Amsterdam – Tehran service, after 3 years hiatus. It currently proposed to operate 4 weekly flights with 777-200ER.

From 09JUL16, service operates as Day x247 from AMS, Day x135 from IKA. KLM last served Tehran in April 2013, with 4 weekly MD11 service.

The listing also appeared on KLM’s schedule listing on its website, however this has been removed during mid-day Thursday (28JAN16).

From 03MAY16, KLM plans to revise service to Kazakhstan, as Astana joins KLM network. Proposed operation would see the airline operates Amsterdam – Almaty – Astana – Amsterdam service and opposite direction, twice weekly each with Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
