Air Canada June – Sep 2016 Boeing 787 Operation Changes

Air Canada in recent schedule update has revised a number of planned operational aircraft for International route, mainly effective from 16JUN16 to 18SEP16 (Canada departure). Planned operational aircraft changes as follow.

Toronto – Frankfurt 19JUN16 – 18SEP16 AC876/877 operates with Boeing 787-9, replacing A330-300
Toronto – Istanbul Ataturk 16JUN16 – 26SEP16 Planned Boeing 787-9 service replaced by -8 (787-8 operates for entire summer season, from 01MAY16)
Toronto – London Heathrow 17JUN16 – 17SEP16 AC868/857 operates with 787-8, replacing -9
Toronto – Los Angeles 18JUN16 – 17SEP16 AC789/786 operates with Boeing 787-8, replacing -9
Toronto – Madrid 16JUN16 – 18SEP16 Boeing 787-9 replaces -8, daily service
Toronto – Seoul Incheon 17JUN16 – 19SEP16 Service resumes with Boeing 787-9, replacing -8 (787-8 operates from 20SEP16)
Vancouver – London Heathrow 17JUN16 – 16SEP16 Seasonal 2nd daily AC896/897 operates with 787-8, replacing -9 (AC896/897 from 01JUN16 to 16JUN16 and from 17SEP16 to 30SEP16 operates with 787-9)
Vancouver – Seoul Incheon 17JUN16 – 17SEP16 Boeing 787-9 replaces -8, operational schedule is moving forward by 2.5 hours

Due to aircraft redeployment, following Boeing 787 service is being replaced by other aircraft:
Calgary – London Heathrow 17JUN16 – 18SEP16 Boeing 777-200LR replaces 787-9, daily
Vancouver – Tokyo Narita 17JUN16 – 17SEP16 Boeing 777-300ER replaces 787-8, daily

Calgary – Tokyo Narita eff 01MAY16 Boeing 787-8 replaces 767-300ER
Toronto – Rome 01MAY16 – 14JUN16 Boeing 787-9 operates daily
Vancouver – Brisbane eff 01JUN16 NEW route by Boeing 787-8
Vancouver – Newark eff 17JUN16 Boeing 787-8 replaces Airbus A319
