Saudia W16 International service changes as of 25AUG16

Saudia this week updated majority of its planned winter 2016/17 operation, effective 30OCT16. Planned international service changes as of 25AUG16 as follow.

Dammam – Bangalore 1 weekly A330-300 (333) service cancelled
Jeddah – Addis Ababa Service in winter season operates 4 weekly with A330-300 (333), instead of 3 weekly
Jeddah – Ankara Previously reported, new 4 weekly A320 service from 18NOV16 (however service will be operated by A330-300 “333” / 320 / 321 for the week of 18NOV16)
Jeddah – Bahrain eff 01DEC16 11 weekly service operates with A320, replacing a mix of A320 and Embraer E170
Jeddah – Beirut A330-300Regional (330) continues to operate 1 weekly on this route (service starts from Oct 2016)
Jeddah – Cairo Majority of the 5 daily service will be gradually switching to A330-300Regional (330) operation
Jeddah – Delhi Increase from 5 weekly to 7 weekly, 2-class 777-200ER (772) service
Jeddah – Doha 10 weekly service is maintained on/after 30OCT16
Jeddah – Dubai Expanded A330-300Regional (330) operation on this route
Jeddah – Geneva 4th weekly service will continue operating on/after 30OCT16, A320 operation
Jeddah – Guangzhou Increase from 2 to 3 weekly, 3-class 777-200ER (77L) service
Jeddah – Hyderabad 2-class 777-300ER (773) replacing A330-300, 3 weekly
Jeddah – Islamabad Increase from 5 to 8 weekly, 2-class 777-200ER (772) service
Jeddah – Istanbul Ataturk 2 daily A330-300 (333) continues operation, replacing previously scheduled 1 daily each A320 and 330
Jeddah – Karachi Increase from 12 to 13 weekly, 2-class 777-200ER (772) service
Jeddah – Khartoum 2 daily service operates with A330-300Regional (330), this will begin from 01OCT16
Jeddah – Kuwait City A330-300Regional (330) continues to operate on selected flights
Jeddah – Lahore Increase from 11 to 14 weekly, 2-class 777-200ER (772) service
Jeddah – London Heathrow Operational aircraft changes to 6 weekly 3-class 777-300ER (77W) and 1 weekly 2-class -300ER (773)
Jeddah – Manchester 5th weekly service, to be introduced from Sep 2016, will be maintained on/after 30OCT16
Jeddah – Mumbai SV772/773 service increasing form 4 weekly to 7 weekly (overall currently displays an increase from 7 to 10 weekly), 2-class 777-200ER (772) service
Jeddah – Munich The 2 weekly A320 service, operating as Riyadh – Jeddah – Munich, will continue, however Jeddah – Munich sector will not be available for reservation in winter 2016/17 season
Jeddah – Muscat 2 weekly service operates with A320, replacing A320/Embraer E170
Jeddah – Sharm el Sheikh Increase from 5 to 6 weekly, A320 service
Madinah – Amman Previously planned 2 weekly operation in W16 is cancelled
Madinah – Ankara Previously reported, new 3 weekly A320 service from 19NOV16 (however service will be operated by A330-300 “333” for the week of 19NOV16)
Madinah – Cairo 11 weekly service operates with A330-300 (333) and 2-class 777-200ER (772), replacing a mix of A320 and 2-class 777
Madinah – Dubai Increase from 7 to 10 weekly, A320 service
Madinah – Istanbul Ataturk A330-300 (333) operates 7 weekly, replacing A320/330 mix
Riyadh – Alexandria/Borg el Arab eff 02DEC16 Increase from 5 to 7 weekly, A320 service
Riyadh – Bangalore Increase from 1 to 2 weekly, A330-300 (333) service
Riyadh – Cairo Majority of service will be operated by A330-300Regional (330) and -300 (333), replacing Boeing 777-200ER and A330
Riyadh – Delhi Increase from 5 to 6 weekly, 2-class 777-200ER (772) service
