Air Namibia Africa service changes from Oct 2016

Air Namibia, starting next month, introduces service to Durban in South Africa, as the airline schedules Windhoek – Gaborone – Durban route. From 30OCT16, the airline will operate this route with Embraer ERJ135 aircraft, 4 times a week. Windhoek – Gaborone sector is a service resumption.

The airline in Northern winter 2016/17 season is adjusting a number of intra-Africa service. Existing 4 weekly Windhoek – Lusaka – Harare A319 service will be split to the following:

Windhoek – Harare 5 weekly ERJ135 nonstop operation
SW417 WDH1600 – 1805HRE ER3 x46
SW418 HRE1850 – 2105WDH ER3 x46

Windhoek – Lusaka 6 weekly ERJ135 nonstop operation
SW377 WDH1610 – 1825LUN ER3 x2
SW378 LUN1910 – 2130WDH ER3 x2

The airline will also cancel service to Maun, while Victoria Falls service becomes nonstop terminator service, 4 times a week (currently 2 of 4 weekly operates via Maun).
