UNI Air plans domestic routes addition in 1H17

EVA Air’s subsidiary UNI Air later this month will resume Taipei Song Shan – Hualien service, assuming Mandarin Airlines’ temporary operation to Eastern Taiwan, followed by the closure of TransAsia Airways. UNI Air from 16FEB17 will serve this route twice daily, with ATR72-600 aircraft.

UNI Air last served this route in February 2001. Mandarin Airlines’ Taipei Song Shan – Hualien route will operate until 15FEB17, however it’ll maintain 3 weekly Taichung – Hualien route.

In addition, UNI Air has filed operational schedule for Kinmen – Magong route, temporary scheduled to resume on 01APR17. This route was also previously operated by TransAsia Airways. Proposed schedule sees 3 weekly ATR72-600 operation, currently listed for the month of April 2017 only.
