Insel Air temporary downsizes operation from March 2017

Insel Air yesterday (07MAR17) announced temporary reductions to its operational schedule, as a result of on-going grounding of part of its fleet by the Aruban Civil Aviation Authorities.

Starting today (08MAR17), Insel Air’s operation will be temporary downsized to 3 routes, operated by Fokker 50 aircraft.

Curacao – Aruba up to 6 daily
Curacao – Bonaire 4 daily
Curacao – St. Maarten 2 daily

Service for following routes are being suspended until further notice: Barquisimeto, Caracas, Georgetown, Haiti, Havana, Kingston, Las Piedras, Manaus, Medellin, Miami, Paramaribo, Port of Spain, Santo Domingo and Quito. In the airline’s press release, it expected to return to regular schedule by June 2017.
