SWISS To Launch New Geneva Service

Dublin Airport has welcomed Swiss International Air Lines’ (SWISS) decision to launch a new year-round service from Dublin to Geneva from June.

The new Geneva service, which will begin on June 26, will operate four times per week. SWISS also operates a year-round service from Dublin to Zurich with up to nine flights per week during the peak summer season. All SWISS flights from Dublin are operated with an A320 aircraft offering around 150 seats.

Dublin Airport Managing Director Vincent Harrison said he was delighted to welcome SWISS’s new route to Geneva. “This new year-round service to Geneva will provide additional choice and flexibility for passengers travelling between Ireland and Switzerland and we look forward to working closely with SWISS to promote its new route. The SWISS service to Geneva is the twentieth new route to be announced for Dublin Airport this year, offering our customers better connectivity and additional destinations in 2015.”

Felix Rodel, SWISS’ Director for UK and Ireland said that “in opening our new route between Dublin and Geneva, we are responding to a clear demand on the part of both our leisure and our business customers.”

The new service will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flights will depart Geneva at 06.10 and arrive in Dublin at 7.20 while the return flight departs Dublin at 08.00 and arrives in Geneva at 11.15.
