Ryanair Announces New Dublin-Athens Service
Dublin Airport has welcomed yesterdays announcement by Ryanair of a new three times weekly service to Athens, beginning next March.
Said Airport Managing Director, Vincent Harrison: “We are delighted Ryanair is further expanding its route network at Dublin Airport giving more choice and flexibility to customers.
“Athens is steeped in culture and history and I have no doubt this will be a popular route. We look forward to welcoming the launch of this new service next spring.”
Ryanair’s announcement follows the recent news that Greece’s largest carrier, Aegean Airlines, is to operate a new service between Dublin and Athens for the 2016 summer season.
