KHANH HOA AND THE JOURNEY TO CONQUER THE PROMISING JAPANESE TOURISM MARKET!

Breaking New Ground in Tourism – Direct Flights from Tokyo to Khanh Hoa, Opening Doors to a Promising Future!

Japanese tourists have always been a strategic and promising market for Vietnam's tourism in general and Khanh Hoa in particular. With their stable spending power, long stay durations, and love for Vietnam's culture and beautiful landscapes, Japanese visitors are expected to play a significant role in the sustainable growth of the local tourism industry.

In fact, the number of Japanese visitors to Vietnam has been showing positive growth trends, with nearly 280,000 arrivals in the first five months of 2025. This is a very promising signal, especially for Khanh Hoa – a province famous for its beautiful beaches, luxury resorts, and rich cultural heritage. Attracting this demographic not only boosts revenue but also enhances the quality of local tourism services.

Mr. Akira Archie Mori, Senior Advisor of Narita Airport's Aviation Business and Marketing Department, analyzes the Japanese tourist market to Vietnam and vice versa.

To realize this great potential, strengthening direct air connectivity is a key factor. Recently, Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company (CRTC) led a strategic meeting with a delegation from Narita International Airport (Tokyo, Japan), with the significant participation of the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, as well as strategic partner Changi Airports International.

During the meeting, the Narita Airport delegation expressed high appreciation for the allure of Khanh Hoa's tourism, highlighting its natural beauty, favorable climate, and the development of its resort infrastructure. Both parties engaged in discussions to explore specific plans for launching a direct Tokyo-Khanh Hoa flight route. This initiative represents a breakthrough move, not only shortening travel time and maximizing convenience for tourists but also serving as a testament to the strong collaboration aimed at elevating Khanh Hoa's tourism to new heights.

A delegation from Narita Airport inspected the operational status of Cam Ranh International Terminal.

Cam Ranh International Terminal remains committed to being a strong bridge, tirelessly working with partners and relevant authorities to expand the international flight network and contribute significantly to the thriving development of the local tourism industry.
