Khanh Hoa: An Expanding Tourism Gateway, Ready to Welcome Visitors from 12 European Countries!

The Gateway to Paradise, Welcoming the whole World.

Great news for Vietnam's tourism sector and especially for Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa, as the government has just issued Resolution No. 229/NQ-CP on visa exemptions for citizens of 12 countries. This is a strategic move to attract more international tourists and a golden opportunity for the local tourism industry to grow even more strongly.

New Policy – Opening Doors to International Tourism

From August 15, 2025, until August 14, 2028, citizens of 12 European countries will be granted visa exemptions upon entry into Vietnam. These are promising markets, including: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Switzerland. With this policy, visitors from these countries can stay in Vietnam for up to 45 days from the date of entry.

Khanh Hoa welcomes Polish tourists during the Lunar New Year holiday.

In addition, Decree No. 221/2025/NĐ-CP also stipulates a temporary visa exemption for special guests, such as experts, investors, and business leaders, with a validity of up to 5 years.
