On the afternoon of March 20, Cam Ranh International Terminal (CRTC), in strategic collaboration with the Khanh Hoa Tourism, Trade and Investment Promotion Center and key aviation partners, successfully co-hosted the grand inauguration of Belavia Belarusian Airlines' direct flight from Minsk. Touching down at exactly 15:00, flight B2795, operated on a wide-body A330-200, safely transported 272 passengers to Cam Ranh. Operating three times a week, this new route is a direct implementation of high-level bilateral agreements between the two nations, significantly expanding economic, cultural, and tourism ties between Vietnam and Belarus.
Celebrating New Horizons at Terminal 2
The inaugural flight was celebrated with a spectacular traditional water salute on the apron, honoring this successful new beginning. Inside the arrivals hall of Terminal 2, CRTC leadership, alongside the Ambassador of Belarus to Vietnam and high-ranking Khanh Hoa provincial officials, personally welcomed the first passengers. Guests were greeted with vibrant flowers, unique local souvenirs, and engaging traditional cultural performances. The launch of the direct Minsk - Khanh Hoa route is poised to capitalize on the rapidly growing demand from Belarusian tourists. Local statistics reveal a remarkable growth trajectory: Belarusian arrivals surged from 3,244 in 2024 to 8,861 in 2025 (a 173% increase), with the first two months of 2026 already welcoming over 2,100 visitors.
