Cyprus updates country categories, entry requirements
At Hermes Airports we follow the governmental health protocols, ensuring a travel experience that offers security and protection to all passengers.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic Covid-19, entrance in the terminal buildings of Larnaka and Pafos Airports is allowed for passengers and staff only. Furthermore, the use of a medical protective face mask is mandatory throughout your stay at the airport, whilst visible signs remind you to keep a physical distance of 2 meters where possible. We have also increased the frequency of cleaning and installed dozens of hand sanitizers which are available for use by passengers and staff.
As of 1st March 2021, Cyprus introduced a colour-coded country categorization based on the European Centre of Disease and Control (ECDC), which classifies countries into green, orange or red categories. The grey category is added which foresees obtaining special permission to travel to Cyprus. Further information regarding the prerequisites may be found here.
