Discover Airlines launches Cyprus Operations

Discover Airlines has inaugurated operations at Larnaka International Airport, marking its entry into the Cypriot market and further expanding the Lufthansa Group’s footprint in the country.

The airline operated its first flight on the first day of the summer season, introducing year-round connections from both Frankfurt and Munich. The move strengthens Cyprus–Germany connectivity, a key European leisure corridor, while providing onward access to the group’s global network via these hubs. The services are expected to support both inbound leisure demand and outbound traffic flows, particularly during the peak summer season, as Germany remains one of Cyprus’ most important source markets.

The Lufthansa Group already maintains a strong presence in Cyprus across both airports, including the recent introduction of weekly services by Lufthansa connecting Pafos International Airport with Munich.
