Pafos Airport Sees Steady Passenger Flow as Cyprus Experiences Growth in Passenger Traffic

Cyprus’ two international airports, Larnaka and Pafos, have recorded a significant increase in passenger traffic during the first six months of 2025, reflecting a rising travel demand and the island’s growing appeal as a tourist destination, also during the months of winter season.
According to official figures, total passenger traffic reached 5,671,326, marking an 11.6% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Pafos Airport welcomed 1,575,499 travellers, with traffic levels remaining stable. This performance is attributed to expanded airline schedules and increased connectivity to several European destinations, the introduction of new routes and airlines — such as Ryanair’s launch of flights to Düsseldorf Weeze and FlyOne’s commencement of operations from Pafos Airport to Yerevan — and a strong tourism season.
The momentum is expected to continue into the second half of the year, with further increases anticipated during the peak summer months.
