Cyprus Airports Reach All-Time High Passenger Traffic in 2025
Cyprus Airports marked a milestone year in 2025, recording the highest passenger traffic in their history, alongside notable growth in winter travel.
Growth was driven by sustained demand throughout the year, with significant expansion in winter travel, reflecting Cyprus’s growing appeal as a year-round leisure destination.
Larnaka Airport handled 9.91 million passengers, up 14% year-on-year, while Pafos Airport recorded 3.84 million passengers, reflecting a 5% increase. In total, 60 airlines operated 160 routes, connecting Cyprus to 41 markets across Europe and the Middle East. The UK, Greece, Israel, Poland and Germany were the top source markets in 2025.
Passenger traffic during the off-peak months also rose significantly, increasing 15–18% compared with the same period in 2024, underscoring the positive effect of efforts to strengthen year-round connectivity.
Looking ahead to 2026, Cyprus Airports plans to further expand airline partnerships and route networks, enhancing connectivity with new destinations in Europe and beyond.
