Lien Khuong Airport was officially designated as an international airport on June 23, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the development of aviation infrastructure for Lam Dong and the Central Highlands region.

The airport features modern infrastructure with an annual handling capacity of 2 million passengers. Classified as a 4D airport under ICAO standards, it is equipped with one runway and 11 aircraft parking stands.
