12.1 million passengers in the first half of 2025

In June 2025, 2.29 million people travelled via BER
12.1 million passengers travelled through BER in the first half of the year - an increase of 2 per cent compared to the same period last year. While BER was able to record a significant increase of 5.2 per cent by the end of the winter flight schedule on 31 March, the announced reduction by Ryanair has been reflected in passenger numbers since the start of the summer flight schedule.
In June 2025, almost 2.29 million people travelled via Berlin Brandenburg Airport. This is around 50,000 fewer passengers than in June 2024, according to the preliminary figures in the traffic report.
The busiest day of the month was Friday 6 June 2025 with 88,034 passengers.
A total of 17,149 aircraft took off and landed at BER last month. In June 2024, there were 17,980 take-offs and landings.
Around 4,329 tonnes of freight were handled at BER in June 2025, 9.3% more than in June 2024. In the first half of the year, the airport recorded a significant increase of 16.1% compared to the same period of the previous year. A total of 24,098 tonnes of freight were handled at BER.
