Aletta von Massenbach, CEO of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH: “Thanks to our new long-distance booking tool, travellers can now directly compare the various travel options to BER and book immediately. BER can also be reached quickly by bus and train from Rostock, Hanover, Dresden, Leipzig, Halle and western Poland.”

Distribusion Technologies GmbH was used to implement the booking tool. The Berlin-based company operates an international platform that efficiently networks transport companies and distribution partners and digitises access to long-distance bus, train and shuttle services. Distribusion Technologies has experience from numerous international projects, including at airports such as Dublin and Naples, and already supports several mobility providers and distribution partners in Germany.

To reach passengers in the extended catchment area even better, the airport company plans to make travel options even better known and further expand the multi-modal range of services at BER in the future.
