Ryanair expands at Malmö Airport with new destinations ahead of summer 2026

Ahead of the summer season 2026, Ryanair is to expand at Malmö Airport with two new routes. In addition to resuming flights to Zagreb, Ryanair will operate two completely new destinations: London and Warsaw. The expansion provides travelers in southern Sweden with more options and strengthens the airport’s international offering.

Ryanair continues to broaden its network of destinations and starting summer 2026, travelers in southern Sweden will have access to direct flights from Malmö Airport to London, Warsaw, and Zagreb. This expansion strengthens the region’s connectivity, enhancing access to both Eastern Europe and the United Kingdom.

- Ryanair’s investment in additional direct routes from Malmö Airport is a clear sign of the continued high demand for international travel to and from Sweden. The new routes will play an important role in connecting southern Sweden to well-established markets in eastern Europe and the UK, said Elizabeth Axtelius, Director Aviation Business at Swedavia. Ryanair plays an important role in achieving Swedavia's goal of enabling people to meet – whether for business trips, holidays or visits to family and friends, she continues.

Starting on March 30, 2026, Ryanair will operate Malmö Airport (MMX) – Zagreb (ZAG) four times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Starting on March 30, 2026, Ryanair will operate Malmö Airport (MMX) – Warsaw Modlin (WMI) two times a week, on Mondays and Thursdays.
