AirAsia ends Kota Kinabalu – Jakarta service in Jan 2017

AirAsia in January 2017 is ending Kota Kinabalu – Jakarta route, as the airline scheduled last flight on 09JAN17. This route is currently served by Airbus A320, 3 times a week. Existing schedule as follow.

AK241 BKI1840 – 2020CGK 320 246
AK242 CGK2050 – 0030+1BKI 320 246

This 3 weekly flight will shift to Kota Kinabalu – Kuala Lumpur route from 10JAN17, where overall frequency increases from 84 to 87 weekly (13 daily flights on Day 246).
