Lufthansa S17 Munich Long-haul service changes as of 22DEC16

Lufthansa in this week’s schedule update made further adjustment to Munich – Tehran Imam Khomeini operation, effective from 26MAR17. Latest update sees the airline continues to maintain 3 weekly Airbus A330-300 operation, as planned A340-600 service on 2 of 3 weekly flights is removed, along with First Class service.

For winter 2017/18 schedule from 30OCT17, the airline also removed planned 4th weekly flight, briefly available for reservation for about a week. Previously planned all-A340-600 service is cancelled, switching back to A330-300.

Other changes for long-haul service from Munich in S17 as follow:
Munich – Denver eff 01MAY17 Airbus A340-600 replaces A330-300, 1 daily
Munich – Miami eff 26MAR17 Airbus A340-600 replaces A330-300, 1 daily. This is a winter seasonal service operating until 30APR17
Munich – Riyadh eff 26MAR17 Service operates 3 weekly, instead of 4. A330-300 operation

Previously reported changes:
Munich – Vancouver Seasonal service from 01MAY17 operates with A330-300 on daily basis, instead of 4 weekly A330 and 3 weekly A340-600
