Wizz Air tweaks Vienna operations in 2018/19

Wizz Air in recent weeks made further adjustment on its planned Vienna base operation, including minor frequency adjustment in summer 2018, as well as accelerating launch dates for new routes scheduled in 1Q19.

Recent modification on operational frequencies in summer 2018:
Vienna – Tuzla eff 27APR18 Service operates 4 weekly instead of 5
Vienna – Valencia eff 02JUL18 Increase from 3 to 4 weekly (service commences on 14JUN18)

Following new routes originally scheduled from March 2019, will move forward to February 2019:
Vienna – Malmo eff 15FEB19 4 weekly A321 (Previously scheduled from 22MAR19)
Vienna – Madrid eff 15FEB19 4 weekly A321, increasing to 1 daily from 23FEB19 (Originally scheduled as 3 weekly A321 from 23FEB19, 1 daily from 22MAR19)
Vienna – Reykjavik Keflavik eff 16FEB19 3 weekly A321 (Previously scheduled from 23MAR19)
Vienna – Stockholm Skavsta eff 15FEB19 4 weekly A321 (Previously scheduled from 22MAR19)

Additional changes for winter 2018/19 season previously not reported on Airlineroute:
Vienna – Billund Planned A321 operation from 16NOV18, has been revised to 16NOV18 – 23NOV18 only, switching to A320 from 24NOV18
Vienna – Gdansk A321 replaces A320 from 28OCT18
Vienna – Malaga A321 replaces A320 from 15NOV18
Vienna – Valencia Planned A321 operation from 16NOV18, will now begin from 28OCT18, replacing A320
