Thai Airways International ends Hong Kong – Seoul service in late-Oct 2018

Thai Airways International in recent schedule update removed Hong Kong – Seoul Incheon service, with last flight scheduled on 27OCT18. On Bangkok – Hong Kong sector, overall service remains unchanged at 5 daily, while Bangkok – Seoul Incheon nonstop sector increases from 18 to 25 weekly, new flight operated by Boeing 777-200ER as TG654/655.

THAI will continue to serve 1 daily Taipei Taoyuan – Seoul Incheon flight on/after 28OCT18. The Star Alliance member initially added Hong Kong – Taipei – Seoul routing on/around April 1980, based on data from the OAG, and the nonstop Hong Kong – Seoul routing commenced around April 1983.
