EGYPTAIR Extends Japan Service Cancellation into Winter 2011

As per 19SEP11 GDS inventory display, EGYPTAIR is extending Cairo – Osaka Kansai and Cairo – Tokyo Narita route cancellations into Winter 2011/12 schedule. These routes has been removed from the airline’s inventory system since early-September 2011.

Osaka Kansai Airport earlier issued a press release that the Star Alliance member intends to resume Japan service with 3 weekly Cairo – Tokyo Narita – Osaka Kansai – Cairo triangle route from 19NOV11, however there are no such flight listed in the system.

Previously planned schedule from 30OCT11 prior to early-September 2011 were:

Cairo – Osaka Kansai
MS962 CAI2300 – 1720+1KIX 340 46
MS963 KIX2315 – 0550+1CAI 340 57

Cairo – Tokyo Narita
MS964 CAI2320 – 1800+1NRT 77W 257
MS965 NRT2120 – 0420+1CAI 77W 136

Above schedule were previous plan. This will be updated once confirmed resumption date and schedule is made available.
