TRUONG SA MUSEUM - A CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL HIGHLIGHT
Located less than a 15-minute drive from Cam Ranh International Terminal, the 300-billion-VND Truong Sa Museum project in Cam Lam is poised to become a national-scale cultural institution and a must-visit destination for tourists arriving in Khanh Hoa.
Just 11.6 km from Cam Ranh International Terminal (CRTC), the memorial complex in Cam Lam will soon welcome a project of national significance: the Truong Sa Museum. Officially breaking ground on the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the Truong Sa Archipelago (April 29, 2026), this highly anticipated development holds immense meaning for the entire country.
Despite boasting Vietnam's longest coastline and the sacred Truong Sa archipelago, there has never been a specialized space fully dedicated to exhibiting and introducing this region. The establishment of the Truong Sa Museum perfectly fills this gap, serving as a comprehensive center for preserving, researching, and educating the public about the nation's maritime history and culture.

The architectural concept is deeply inspired by the Gac Ma Memorial, specifically its underground space featuring 64 flowers that symbolize the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for the Fatherland.
With an investment of nearly 300 billion VND covering 1.71 hectares, the museum features a striking architectural design of three branches reaching out from the mainland toward the East Sea. The complex harmoniously blends a high-tech modern indoor exhibition space with an outdoor park shaded by native island flora. The visitor journey will encompass five deeply engaging themes, exploring everything from the region's diverse natural beauty to its heroic history and resilient vitality.

Inside, the atriums are designed with expansive, sea-facing views, allowing visitors to fully embrace the vast natural landscape. According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, once completed, the space will be divided into thematic exhibition zones, with the most prominent focus placed on the sea, islands, and Truong Sa
Expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2028, the Truong Sa Museum will seamlessly connect with the nearby coastline and the Gac Ma Memorial. In the near future, this meaningfully integrated cultural and eco-tourism space will undoubtedly be a prominent historical landmark and a perfect first stop for travelers right after touching down at the Cam Ranh International Airport..
