On September 25, the 2/4 Square in Nha Trang will transform into a vibrant cultural hub for the "Moonlight Voyage" Mid-Autumn Festival. Marking a first for the province, this large-scale event uniquely blends traditional Mid-Autumn festivities with the coastal identity and marine ecosystem of Khanh Hoa.
The festival's visual centerpiece features giant 4-meter mascots representing the marine life of the "Four Bays Voyage". Visitors will be greeted by the guiding Swallow, the energetic Dolphin and Lionfish, the enduring Sea Turtle, the majestic Whale, and the Seahorse showcasing Vinh Hy's pristine beauty. Beyond creating vivid check-in spots, these installations aim to nurture environmental awareness and a love for nature among the youth. The celebration expands with a spectacular ceremony where thousands of lanterns will transform the coastline into a "sea of light," complemented by traditional folk games, Bai Choi singing, creative workshops, and vibrant Lion-Dragon dances.
Extending to the 16/4 Square, the festival also carries a profound community spirit through the "Moon Sending Dreams" program, gifting thousands of notebooks to disadvantaged students, particularly those in island communes.
