A spectacular National Day holiday: Khanh Hoa welcomes over 1.2 million visitors
As the National Day holiday concludes with remarkable milestones, Cam Ranh International Terminal (CRTC) takes immense pride in serving as the bustling aviation gateway, successfully connecting tens of thousands of international travelers to Khanh Hoa’s explosive cultural and entertainment festivities.
During the 5-day holiday (Aug 29 - Sept 2), Khanh Hoa's tourism sector served approximately 1,249,000 visitors, generating an estimated total revenue of 2,100 billion VND. Notably, the province recorded 357,000 staying guests—including 96,000 international arrivals—driving the average room occupancy rate to an impressive 86%.
The destination's magnetic appeal was fueled by meticulous infrastructure preparation and a series of mega-events. Highlights included the special art program on September 1 celebrating the 81st National Day and the global spectacle "Dances of the World - Hello Vietnam, Hello World," which featured 111 delegates from Miss World 2026 on September 2. A vibrant ecosystem of entertainment, ranging from the "Life Puppets" (Rối Mơ) show to the Alora concert and VinWonders' Tata Show, enriched the visitor experience. Furthermore, stringent security measures and dedicated hotlines were maintained throughout, ensuring a seamless and safe holiday for all.
The resounding success of this holiday period firmly solidifies Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa’s premier status on the regional tourism map.
