Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2027: Elevating the destination into a year-round celebration

In 2027, the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival will transform into a continuous year-round cultural and tourism series. Aligning with this strategic shift, Cam Ranh International Terminal (CRTC) optimizes its operational capacity to seamlessly accommodate a steady influx of international travelers across all four seasons.

Khanh Hoa's tourism sector is comprehensively revamping the 2027 Sea Festival by transitioning it to a year-round organizational model. This strategic shift aims to overcome the limitations of a concentrated multi-day event, thereby maximizing the festival's brand value and extending visitor stays.

Data from the 2026 Sea Festival, held from July 17 to 19, demonstrated immense market appeal by attracting 787,500 visitors, including approximately 50,000 international guests. The event generated over 1.3 trillion VND in tourism revenue. During this period, provincial room occupancy exceeded 85%, with the 4-5 star segment reaching over 90%. Furthermore, following the expansion of administrative boundaries on July 1, 2025, Khanh Hoa has acquired a vast array of new cultural and tourism resources ready for comprehensive development.

The 2027 Sea Festival is slated to run under the overarching theme "Four seasons of connection - A complete trust". The event series is structured into four distinct phases: "Spring welcomes sea blessings" (January to March), "Sea calls for joyful summer" (April to June), "Golden autumn, sweet fruit" (July to September), and "Warm winter for the future" (October to December). Notably, the southern part of the province will be explored for hosting international-scale events, potentially developing from the grape and wine festival of the former Ninh Thuan province.

The shift toward a year-round festival model necessitates seamless and stable transport infrastructure. Operating at the region's core, Cam Ranh International Terminal (CRTC) maintains optimized procedures and modern facilities. This operational readiness ensures a highly efficient transit experience for all international passengers embarking on their coastal journeys, regardless of the season.
