Vietnam Art Photography Exhibition 2026: Showcasing 200 outstanding works along Nha Trang Bay
The organization of the biennial Vietnam Art Photography Exhibition at Nha Trang's coastal park enriches the destination's cultural portfolio, aligning with the optimized terminal management of Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company (CRTC) to seamlessly facilitate incoming international passenger flows.
Opening on the morning of October 20, the Vietnam Art Photography Exhibition 2026 takes place at the coastal park area adjacent to Tram Huong Tower in Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa province. The event is jointly organized by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists. Initiated in 2000 and held biennially, the competition and exhibition have become a major national artistic platform that fosters a professional creative environment and honors works of high aesthetic and humanistic value.
The 2026 competition attracted extensive participation, receiving 9,291 submissions—including 7,756 single photos and 1,535 photo series—created between August 2024 and June 2026 by 1,263 authors from 34 provinces and cities nationwide. From these entries, the organizing committee selected 200 representative works by 166 authors for display, comprising 156 single photos and 44 photo series, with the most outstanding pieces being awarded at the opening ceremony. Through diverse artistic perspectives, the exhibited works vividly and authentically capture the people, culture, history, landscapes, and nature of Vietnam, contributing to promoting the nation's image to both the domestic public and international audiences.
Hosting national-scale open-air art exhibitions directly along the Nha Trang coastline diversifies local tourism offerings and strengthens the destination's appeal to international leisure and cultural travelers. Parallel to the continuous enrichment of Khanh Hoa's cultural calendar, Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company (CRTC) maintains synchronized operational management and streamlined passenger processing workflows at the international terminal. This high standard of infrastructure readiness ensures that global travelers experience a smooth, efficient transition from aircraft disembarkation to exploring the vibrant coastal and artistic spaces of the region.
